Surf & Sand Hotel Arugambay was chosen by my director for our business trip, and I must say it was a fantastic choice. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities to cater to the needs of its guests. Treat yourself to a rejuvenating massage or indulge in other spa services that are sure to leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed. The hotel facilities are top-notch, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There was one minor downside during my stay.

I indulged in a variety of cuisines: Chinese, Dutch, and British. The safety features were impressive - carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and even window guards. Oh, and they had a free English breakfast, always a delight!

The cleaning crew must have gone on vacation with me, since my room didn't get cleaned during my entire stay. So relaxing to come back to my own mess!

The hotel's proximity to the nearest airport, just 116 km away, was incredibly convenient for my short stay. the staff at the hotel were polite and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process.

the lack of wifi in the room was quite inconvenient, especially for a traveler who relies on internet connectivity for various purposes.

had a lovely stay in arugam bay, surf & sand hotel exceeded expectations! amazing chef, delicious dinners for a great price. friendly staff helped arrange tuktuk to passikudah. basic and clean room, comfy beds and nice balcony. breakfast was varied and tasty. overall, highly recommend!

It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of meetings and work. The hotel's spa facilities were well-maintained and provided a serene ambiance, allowing me to truly relax and rejuvenate.

The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was related to the room's air conditioning.

Great location, steps from the beach and restaurants. Excellent food, with different breakfast and dinner options. Clean rooms with spacious bathrooms. Friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended for female solo travelers.

Great location in the center of town with fabulous bungalows and a lovely veranda. The beds were really comfy and everything was excellent. A short stroll to the beach and shopping. The owner, Mubarak, is a delightful and attentive guy who truly cares about his place and his customers. He even arranged transport for us with his friend, a multilingual tour guide. Well done!

The rooms are a bit small, but you don't go there to stay in the bedroom anyway. And once you have a shower, everything gets wet.

Great value hotel with clean rooms, good WiFi, and helpful staff. Short walk to the beach. Good breakfast options. Quiet location for a peaceful night's sleep. Large and clean bathrooms.
